Ditto

As follow-up on my post about car door locks, it just occurred to me that I hear my kids and their friends say "same" all the time when they've done or thought the same thing as a friend.  I never hear them say "ditto."  Clearly, we all know why - they don't know what a 'ditto' is.  They've neither seen nor heard of a ditto machine.
