They may not seem new or exciting, but flow charts get me excited. Why? Flow charts show how steps in a process fit together in an organized and visual way. This may not seem very punk rock or on the cutting edge of social media discussions, but wouldn't you like a nice visual way to look at your social media strategy? Sure you would! Part of the magic of a good flow chart is in the design...the thought processes that hit upon areas of possibility or problem as you are creating the chart itself.
Maybe you already have one...if so, you could be the next DelCor Social Media Sweet Spot Award winner!
On this Friday's episode of the Sweet Spot, we are looking at the ways organizations structure their social media strategies using a good old-fashioned flow chart. Flow charts are good at communicating how processes work, and for clearly documenting how a particular job is done. Get out your Cross pens and index cards or roll up your sleeves and start clicking away on your online flow chart software. We are talking social media strategy this Friday and if you email your flow chart social media strategies to me at klitalienATdelcorDOTcom you could be the lucky recipient of your very own Social Media Sweet Spot Award!
Looking for fun examples? Check out this social media flow chart, or this one, or this one.
Go ahead! Get creative!
We will post the winning flow chart here after the winner is announced.
